Mirror removal for wallpaper

Does anyone have any hints on how to move a large bathroom mirror (held by 4 clips) to strip and hang wallpaper? I have been told that they are quite fragile and easily "explode" if mishandled. The old paper must be stripped behind the mirror because it covers the entire wall.

mclithe, We move many mirrors and what we have found is when they are larger than 4 feet high and 6 feet wide we don't touch them. Any mirror you attempt to move make sure it is held upright in the position it is now in and never lay one down, wear gloves and be careful. A mirror that breaks in your hands can tear you up.....Mike
