lifting edges on wall paper

lifting edges on wall paper

Should be an easy fix how can I fix some curled up edges the paper is still good.can I put some white glue under it and tape it down till it dries?Thanks you guys in this forum are great!

michael van, Spray the edges with water using a 409 bottle or something. Do this a couple of times or until the paper softens. Use seem sealer or border adhesive and roll down. Shouldn't need tape or anything to hold it down.....Mike

wallpapering over textured paint

In effort to finally update my family room (had dark 1970's wood panelling), I have primed the panel and decided to paint a textured paint. (I used a green tinted sand texture paint from Valgra) I absolutely hate it and have decided to wallpaper instead. How can I wall paper over the wall with the textured paint? Also, do I have to worry about stains (possibly oil on the panel) coming through a vinyl wallpaper as they have come through both the primer and the textured paint? Thanks for your information.
