Removing sticky-backed border
#1

Our new (used) home has a sticky-backed Pooh border in one of the bedrooms. How do I remove this from the wall? So far, I am removing it inch by inch! Thanks!

From what you wrote, it sounds like you are talking about one of those self sticking borders similar to any common sticker. If this is true, I would go straight to the "redneck cure": WD-40. Get a good start on the border, and spray between the junction of the border/wall. Rub with your finger or paint brush. Spray, Rub, Peel, and repeat. Some also have excellent results with a heat gun, or more practical, a hair dryer. Heat and peel. Either method should work well for you.
