Question decorating on a budget.

I guess im feeling lazy here... im bored of my current vinyl wallcovering and wanted to have just plain emulsion on the the walls.. i know its best to remove the vinyl 1st .... but can i paint over a vinyl covering?

Most vinyl`s were designed to be stripped with ease..
Peel off the vinyl layer and spray soak the backing 2 or three times using a garden spray cannister..Normaly the backing will peel off in lengths..

I agree with Top, almost always its a better idea to strip wallpaper than to paint over it. You could paint over it but later down the road, it would be a bear to remove or could fail with the added weight of the new paint.
