scoring drywall at 16 oc to carry downstairs

scoring drywall at 16 oc to carry downstairs

can I just then screw the sheet up. Or do I need to tape it?

Cool

You only need to mud and tape open seams.
If you score the back and don't break the face paper, you should be able to put screws on both sides of the score without taping.
