Ceiling with 2'o.c.

I will soon be finishing the ceiling in my new garage that has trusses with 2ft spacing. A friend (builder) says if I drywall it, it will eventually droop because it is only ocassionally heated. His suggestion was to use osb as it's comparable in price and more rigid. Any suggestions or comments please. Thanks,Rob.

Use 5/8 rock and you shouldn't have to worry about it sagging unless you really have humid conditions.

you may also find that local building codes may require 5/8 rock in case of fire. that's the case in my area.

I was going to use 5/8 rock but we can have some pretty humid conditions. The spring thaw gets the pavement wet with condensation. Thanks for the replys, Rob.
