Wall Texture
I am finishing up the process of taping the seams of my newly rebuilt basement and approaching the phase of texturing the walls. This is my first big project but I have done everything myself and am pretty adept at figuring these things out. I have an aircompressor and am planning on using a hopper and spraying texture on the walls, but am unsure how much to thin the joint compound and would also like tips/suggestions on the whole process. Thanks

Tip's
1: Read all instruction's that came with the hopper
2: Pratice on a piece of cardboard or flat material until you achieve what it is that you want.
3: Have Plenty of water W/ Sponge & a 8" or 10" drywall knife handy in case you don't like the way it sprayed.
4: Thin the mud down so that it's soupy if using regular Joint compound.
