New tub/shower install

Dry wall around a new tub/shower install

I have a question regarding the drywall that will butt up to the 2 piece tub/shower installed. It looks as though the drywall will bow out some because of the lip on the unit and would look odd, what would be the best way to install the drywall?

Possibally cutting a notch in the contact edge to account for the tub's lip thickness?

Ithink you can install it like it is. I don't think you will see it if you mud it with a wide blade.
