molding rules
I am putting up crown molding on my eight foot ceiling. I also need to put up window trim on two windows as well as trim on a sliding patio door, as well as base and shoe molding on the entire room.
The room is new and I want to start with this room and move through the entire house replacing the small trim that came with the house. My question is what is the rule for the size of the molding. If I use 4 1/2 in crown does the base and window trim have to be 4 1/2 as well. What is the formula, please.
