hole in Bathroom drywall appx 4" diameter -

I would like to know how to patch a hole in my bathroom wall appx. 4" in diameter. Could you please help?

Cut a piece of wood 3" by 6". Insert a screw into the center of this piece far enough to be able to hold the wood by the screw. Set the wood into the hole by holding the screw. Screw through the wall board into the wood with drywall screws. Remove the center screw. Cut your filler piece of wall board to fit the hole. Fasten it to the wood with drywall screws. Mud and tape the seam and the heads of the screws. Finish, prime, and paint.

Chfite is right though but this may be a little easier on ya
