Fireproof wall covering options.
#1

I've got a woodstove in my basement. Behind and beneath the stove is a likely 20-30 yr old brick n mortar amateur work. Block wall behind brick wall has leaked for a period of time (likely where the stovepipe exits) and I am currently dismantling the brick wall. I hear that there are fireproof alternatives to brick available these days. Where (online) could I learn about these products, if they do in fact exist?

Being as I have ignored my wood burner for two years now (needs repair too) I just went to advanced search put in "wood burning stove" it came up with www.stovesdirect.com I went to customer service and got started. You may have a related tab on the task bar to search farther.
