crown moulding

i am attempting to install crown moulding but have encountered a problem with the angle of the cuts on the moulding; i used a compound miter saw and cut at two 45 degree angles, they now won't match up on the corner. any advice?

Corners are rarely true 90.......Dry wall compound and/or plaster change angles..........Pickup an angle gauge or cut two scrap pieces at other angles to find a match......Inside corners: Cope
