Home network

Hi,

I have my boardband internet access in the main floor, my house is fully finished with dry walls, I am thinking of buying a router and have network cables run up or down to the second floor to 2 other PCs to share the internet connection, what would be the best way to do it and if there is any guide with pictures and so on to show us how to do it?

Thanks,
Bestjsg

Why not go wireless?

11 Mbps or 22 Mbps v.s. 100 Mbps is my guess. But unless you've got a clear run to the rooms you wish to install the jacks, wireless might be your only option.
