Painted Joists?
Anyone ever just painted the ceiling joists in their basements? I was just thinking of painting them(maybe with a sprayer) to brighten it up down there(it is unfinished) How would it look? Anyone have pictures they could send me before I go thru all the trouble?

It certainly would give a basement a fresh look. It would be the same as painting any other wood.
