Chair molding

is there a standard height for chair molding.....if so what is it..OR should i just match it to the height of what is already up?....thanks

any help would be greatly appreciated

If you've already got some up, I'd say match to it for looks. Generally it's installed 34"-36" up from the floor on a 8'-9' wall. When I do it I usually let the homeowner make the exact determination as to height, it's kind of a matter of taste & making it match the room. Hope that helps you out.
