burned out...

OK, I'm burned out on this project. A friend and I gutted the upstairs of my bungalow. We roughed in a closet and put up new knee walls. Now I need to cover the rough framing. My thought (initially) was doing drywall but more and more I'm thinking of paneling. I'm thinking that paneling would be faster and less mess. Any suggestions?

Thank you!

Paneling is certainly easier to install, but you can't easily repair holes in it as you can drywall (and it WILL get them sooner or later, and then you have to worry about matching the paneling).
Just a thought. Your call.
Good luck!

Paneling isn't very durable when installed directly over a stud wall. Basically you're talking about 1/4" material, that breaks pretty easily. I wouldn't suggest this procedure, but as old guy said, it's your call.
