Vaulted Red Cedar closet ceiling

I'm putting the finishing touches on my new house (moving in in 2.5 weeks) and I'm putting t&g scented red cedar(1x4) in the master walk-in closet. It's a 12' vaulted ceiling and I'm done up to the peak. Here's my question...

Does anyone have any opinions on putting boards horizontally along the peak to cover the seam? I did it in the vaulted living room & bedroom w/black ash ceilings, but I don't know how it will look w/red cedar.

Hi Webmaster,

Sounds like quite a place you've got up in the north woods, shame they don't allow pics here.

It's your closet, do what looks good to you. Might also pose this over in woodworking, there's a forum jump drop out menu at the botom of this page.

Good luck.
