We are getting ready to install crown moulding for the first time. I'm assuming we start in one corner and work our way around the room. Any advice on things you may have learned from prior installation? Thanks.

Yep. Although they're supposed to be, ceilings, walls, corners, etc. will NOT be square and level. You have to adjust things as you go.
Use a radial arm saw for more accurate cutting, rather than a manual saw. Practice on some scrap until you get the hang of it.
When cutting molding at inside corners, cope off the 45 on one piece with a coping saw and sharp utility knife to match and butt the molding over the adjoining piece.
Good luck!

Except for the obvious commercial aspect of this site, it is helpful for guiding cutting crown molding.
