My basement is completed finished, except the ceiling above the stairs leading to the basement. My question is how do you frame the ceiling on "U" type stair? That is, there are about 5 steps going down and then the next 4 steps turn you 180 degrees and then there are 5 final steps. Any suggestions or pictures someone can send?

Help!! - new at this. What's happening to wall? In foyer wall appears to be cracking on side of doorway to dining room; wall buckling top of door by door chime - wall cracking, tape coming away from wall. Just painted 1st level of house May 2002. In hall Way from kitchen going up steps - seams of sheetrock panels showing through paint and bubbled nail marks. Bubbled nail marks appearing on ceiling in upstairs bedroom and bathroom wall. Any ideas what's happening or what type of service person I should call in? Bought house in 1999. House is about 15 years old. Thank you,
