Question

I need to build a wall frame over a brick wall. The brick wall used to be an exterior wall but an addition was built and now the wall is and interior wall. Were could I find some info on how to go about this. ie.... book/video?

http://www.hometime.com has some do it yourself sections on general kinds of things. Basic carpentry and wall building are some of what you would find there.

Or, someone like myself could offer a lengthy explanation on how to.

Your choice.

Cool

Just because I have to put my two cents in.....

The college I went to had an old brick Science Building. Sometime in the late 60's or early 70's (before I got there) they decided to enlarge and update the facility, so they surrounded the old building with a huge cement montrosity (with colored pipes) somewhat reminiscent of the Georges Pompidieu (sp?) center in Paris. But the REALLY COOL thing was where the buildings met - Inside a big open room was the brick exterior of the old building (with windows gone, to make it more open). Just a thought - could be cool having a brick wall on the inside.....

Just don't make your addition a big cement and colored pipe monolith.
