Some say to add additional paste to prepasted borders when adding a wallpaper border to a semi-gloss-painted wall. Others say it may discolor border and cause it not to adhere as well. This is going into a bathroom so I want it to adhere well. Who's right?

The additional paste is always a good idea for a bathroom. Bathrooms have higher humidity levels. Over time, this extra humidity will loosen the paste and the border will fall off the wall.

The sheen has nothing to do with it. Its the humidity.
