I just had a wall of mirrors removed revealing drywall that is in good shape. The problem is that there are multple patches of what the contracter says is polyurethane glue soaked into the drywall. He suggested Killz primer to cover or scraping out the area and then Killz/spackle to cover before priming and painting. Any suggestions?

I would scrape the glue off, patch the sheetrock and apply a quality oil primer.
