Hole in concrete basement wall

My Dad owns a house with a crack running down a basement wall. Can anyone suggest the best way to go about repairing this? Thanks in advance.

Fill the crack with Hydraulic Water-Stop by Quick Crete. Available at Home Depot. Easy to use, and it WORKS GREAT!
