I am removing my crown molding in my living room and will not be putting any back up. The problem is, the wall to ceiling was never finished, meaning there is a small gape where the walls met the ceiling. The builders probably figured the crown molding would never be removed, so didnt finish it out. How do I repair this, but please make it simple as I will be doing this myself.
If you need anymore information on what I am trying to do or if anyone has any suggestions for this repair, please email me @[email protected]

There are basic tape and bedding instructions on this site http://doityourself.com/wall/jointcompound.htm

This is going to be your only way out, unless you go back with crown molding. You will of course need to match the texture on the walls and ceiling to make it look right. You may consider hireing a mud/texture man to do this job.
