I have to repair a popcorn ceiling. A portion of it "fell off" when I was painting over it. Does anyone have an idea other than shooting it with the hopper? The section is about 12 inches in diameter. I tried mixing popcorn in with white paint and then rolling it, but the popcorn doesn't adhere to roller. Any ideas.

Skippy,

There are textures available in spray can form, including "popcorn." When I need it I get it at a building supplier, but I have seen the same product at ACE Hardware. Covers about 2 sq. ft. for about $13 U.S. lol

Hello,

Yeah, the can of popcorn stuff is great for small areas like you've described. I just want to add that you should be SURE to wear goggles when you use it. That stuff comes out of those cans like bullets.

Good Luck!
