Drywall or tiled ceiling.

I was wondering which is cheaper. A sheetrocked ceiling, or a tiled ceiling. The rocking would be done by me, but the muddin and sanding would be done by a local contractor. I would install the tiled ceiling. By tiled ceiling, i mean a drop ceiling, but it isnt dropped, it is right up on the studs. I'm not worried about ceiling height, but the higher the better. the rest of a section of basement that i am finishing will be rocked by me also, but i'll have to hire out help for the tape/mudder and sander guy. Not sure if that will have a break in the price or not. The room is 30'x11'. There is duct work that will need to be rocked also.

Thanks for any insight you can provide.

The drop tile ceiling will be alot easier & save you on the finishing costs, but I like sheetrock ceilings, so I'd vote that way. Just my $.02, for what it's worth.
