Question drywall, celling or wall?

Hello,

I've just finish framing, wiring and insulation will be complete soon. My question, do I drywall the ceilling or the walls first? and what's the advantage.

Thanks Dany

Always hang the ceiling first. then the walls. On the walls hang the top piece first pushing up tight against the ceiling. Then cut your bottom to fit. For the bottom cut about 1/4" more off than the mesurement. The gap will get covered with base board. Hang everything across the joists/studs(horizontally). Screw off with 1 1/4" screws. Stagger any butt joints. Put all rolled/ tapered ends together. Always put the factory edge in the corner and the cut end for your butt joint.
