Joist Hangars
I am putting a beam over the top of some ceiling joists to remove a section of structural wall. Beam is (2) 1 3/4 LVL's x 14" and is supporting some ceiling joist of 2x6's. I need a way to hang the joists from the bottom of the beam (perpendicular). Total height from bottom of joist to top of beam will be 19 1/2". Is there a joist hangar or some other sort of hangar that will do this? If not, any recommendations on how to do this? I can't put the beam under the joist and would be almost impossible to cut the beam into the joists. thanks
