Plaster/Drywall Corner

With my project, I have a corner where my new walls meet my old walls. My old walls are 1" thick plaster and the new ones are 1/2" thick sheetrock. How do I handle the finishing of this corner?

Thanks

In the usual manner with tape and mud. Unless there is something in your question that I missed.

Is there a 1/2" difference? If so you should have shimmed flush. Too late now I guess. Fill in the gap with mud. Feather out 12" on one side. Put tape on the original joint and also about 4 more strips along the built up side to prevent cracking of the built up mud.
