what's a ez way to mark out-cut out outlet box holes in panneling?
whats a ez way to mark out-cut out outlet box holes in panneling?
how do you guys go about it...measure over and make your marks then cut the square out of the panel?
one guy was telling me that he marks the the electric box with white powder presses the panneling on it to make amark and then cuts it out..
also whats the best way to cut the hole out..

Either the powder idea or else a grease pencil will work to mark the outlets, I don't do alot of paneling work, but I just measure the outlet from a known point, adjoining sheet, floor, whatever, anyway measure & mark the box, score it with a utility knife & then cut out with a roto-zip with a wood bit. Could also use a keyhole saw or jigsaw.
