Door removal to a wall
I would like to remove a bathroom door and replace with drywall. How would I bracket the space to make the wall flush?

You have to cut back the drywall on both sides to the middle of a stud. You need to add a stud in the middle of the old doorway in line with the rest of the studs. Depending on the size of your door you will probably need 2 4X8 sheets of drywall(probably 1/2"). Measure the opening and cut the drywall to fit. Screw the sheet down to the studs. Also screw the existing drywall down. Pre fill any large gaps with drywall mud. I like usg plus 3. Let dry. cover joints with mesh tape. Finish the joints by applying mud to each side of tape joint with a 12" knife. 2 fill coats and 1 top coat for slick.
