Fancy drop ceilings, like Armstrong HomeStyle
I am finishing my basement with a drop ceiling. I am ready to
install the ceilling, but received sticker shock when I saw the
price it would be for the fancy 2x2 ft ceiling panels. These have
a lowered square in each 1x1 ft square.
It was going to be $1000 for just this material, (not including the
metal strips, etc).
Can anyone recommend a similar product, (or web site)?
The house is too nice to go with the plain panels.

sorry it's taken so long to respond to your post. Lot of folks go into sticker shock when they start finishing up new houses. In fact I'd say it's a fairly common condition, especially among first-timers. Here's some links you may have already seen, but there ya go anyway.

I assume you've already done some searches on google & such.
