Flat to Vaulted Ceiling
Hi all, First post so be gentle 
I would like to convert my flat celing to a vaulted ceiling. So would it be possible to add the nessesary framing to the exsisting rafters to make a Scissors Truss?
We just had the roof redone last year, I suppose that would of been the ideal time to tear off, oh well.
How impossible is this?

Might try asking your question up in the Architecture & Codes forum. Got say I've never considered such a venture.
