wainscoting advice

Looking to install wainscoting..only know about New England Classic wall systems but kind of pricey.... the Georgia Pacific beadboard panels do not seem high quality enough for the wall, unless maybe just tons of sanding and a high grade paint will make the difference. Anyone have any suggestions? (I want beadboard wainscoting)

If you intend to paint the wainscotting why spend lots on the wainscotting is m opinion holes can be filled with putty and knots can be sealed with white shellac. Personally I preffer varnished wainscotting, in my case the cheaper 3 1/3 inch tongue and groove boards are my favorite, the lower the quality the more knots birdseye and character there is. Expensive, more consistant panels seem manufactured, fake somehow.
