acoustic/water ratio

I want to spray a bedroom ceiling with an acousitc finish but don't know what the ratio would be to just spray one ceiling. I purchased a 35 lb bag of dry mix called Freeman Qauality but all it says is how to mix the whole bag. I know depending on the tip, but how much could I expect to use on a ceiling that is 12 by 12? Would the mix be soupy or sticky in the hopper? This is my first attempt and any help would be great.

You will most likely use all the bag. Mix it up so it pours very easily. Kinda like pancake batter but a little thinner. I'm not exactly sure of the water ratio. You need it thin to spray out of the hopper. Spray more than you think because when it dries it shrinks and may not cover completely.

thank you

Thank you for the reply. I mixed it thin and it sprayed just fine. Wasn't as bad as I feared.
