Removed Suspended light in kitchen
In order to open up a small kitchen, I removed the metal track that held the suspended plastic sheet. I am having an electrician replace the overhead fluorescent lights with recessed lighting. well, after I removed the metal track I found that some of the edges were not finished. It almost looks like the edge of the drywall used on that side had a small piece taken out of it. It is nothing too large, maybe 4-5 inches long and half inch high. My question is, what is the best way to repair that, as it will now be visible with that suspension gone.

You'll have to get a piece of drywall to fill in the hole, then tape, & mud the repair.
