Question Bathroom ceiling

I'm renovating a small bathroom and considering putting tongue and groove cedar (like the closet liners) on the ceiling. My wife loves the smell of the stuff. I was wondering if anyone had done this before or if you think it is any good for a bathroom at all? If not is there a similar wood material that would be suitable for a bathroom ceiling?

Thanks a mil.

You could use any tongue and groove material. Cedar will hold up better under the moisture. Pine would have to be carefully sealed and have more matenance. I have never seen it done but sounds ok.
