Removing possible Elmers glue from sheetrocked walls

I'm moving into a new apartment and one of the bedrooms has glue on the walls. It was used to hang posters on the wall by a teenager. I think it might be Elmers glue but I'm not sure. Does anyone know how to get the glue off of my sheetrocked walls before I give up and put fabric on that wall? Thank you very much.

You might try a blow dryer, sometimes the heat will loosen the glue & allow it to be scraped off the wall. There's also several products sold on the market that might do the trick as well. OOPS, and GOO-GONE are a couple that I've used with quite a bit of success.
