Angry Water damages on ceiling along the joint.

due to we taking bath without the shower curtain, some water leaked and now shows as a thin line in the living area ceiling along the joint of the 2 sheetrocks.
What is the best way to cover this up. I tried to paint the ceiling to hide the water damage but that does not work. Thanks for your help & advice.

CJR.

First, get a shower curtain . Is it just a water stain? If it is then you have to put a stain blocker on it like kilz or bullseye.

thanks, coops, we did get the shower curtain ! It was just the first day we moved in, and had not set up things...
Yes it is just a water stain, not much visible damage, and it did not get any bad after we put the curtain. I will try your suggestion over the weekend, thanks alot.
