New plaster ceiling

I just had my bedroom ceiling skimcoated with plaster to cover up some pathc work I did, hide the screws I added to re-home the sheetrock, and give a nice uniform appearance. The guy did a very nice job and my questions is: How long after he is done should I wait to prime? I know the moisture needs to leech out, so approx. how many days? He used an epoxy under the plaster but it essentialy went over old painted sheetrock. I would assume that affects the moisture removal rate. Thanks: e3

If you live in the U.S. and all this is is a skim job a couple days should be enough. A week wouldn't hurt if it is cool and humid in your neighborhood.
