Steel Stud framing resources

Planning a home theatre room in my basement and am looking for good resources on framing with steel studs. Anybody have any suggestions? I found a nice book at Chapters last night written by Roger German. The framing portion of his book deals with wood framing only though. To tell you the truth I'm actually still on the fence with the framing options (steel vs. wood).

Thing is, I have to do some pretty significant sofit work to cover some duct work in the basement and I've heard that steel makes this relatively easy. I've also heard you can minimize the size of the sofits with steel, which is key to me since I need all the headroom I can get (I'm 6'8"). I also want to put a door under one of the sofits (will be a tight fit). Is there any secret to putting a door frame under a sofit?

I haven't really looked into the costs of each option but if there isn't enough good information out there for me on steel framing then I think I'll go with wood. I want to avoid using the trial and error method to basement finishing.

Thanks.
Sid

Take a look here

scroll down to metal framing and watch video. Maybe all of them will come in handy.
