Skim coat after wallpaper stripping and removal

what can be used to smooth drywall flat after wallpaper stripping removed the drywall covering?

you can start by searching the forums here. Try "paint after wallpaper removal" or something like that

This has been asked and answered several times here, primer with a good quality product like Gardz made by Zinnser, then skim coat with joint compound. I'll close this and rename it so it'll show quickly on searches.
