Anchor for mounting speakers

I want to mount speakers to a section of drywall where there is no stud (I know, not recommended however...) Is there a specific type of anchor that I should be considering for use in 1/2" drywall. The speakers weigh 12 pounds each and come with a mounting bracket. I'd be using two anchors per bracket and the speakers slide onto the bracket so are flush to the wall (which I imagine would would put a little less strain on the anchors). Are two toggle anchors going to hold 12 pounds? 6 pounds per anchor doesn't seem like too much to me.

Thanks in advance.

Two toggle bolts should hold your speakers. I included a link for a new type toggle bolt that you might want to try. Good luck.

Thanks for the reply and the link. That E-Z Anchor looks like a perfect solution. I'll go check out Home Depot tonight.
