mold abatement

mold abatement

i'm not sure to post this here or in another forum, but . . . i've got mold inside walls. once i open up the walls, what is a good way to abate the mold? bleach? air? anything else?

You might spray it with Tilex, and / or scrub with Borax laundry detergent.

I am also interested in this. I have a 4 year old basement where the builder has studs put up in the basement and put kraftfaced insulation up without covering it with drywall or anything else. I recently pulled some insulation out an found white/black stuff on the poured walls. I assumed it was mold. I scrubbed the walls with a brush and scraper using a heavy dose of bleach and a little water. Messy, stinky job but it really cleaned the walls up. Hope this worked! :mask:
