Unbolted ceiling box

I have a large living room with which I want to create 2 distinct areas by adding a 10"X10" ceiling box. The challenge is that the ceiling is concrete and the condo disallows any drilling into the concrete. So I guess it has to be a "floating box" held up by pillars at each end. It spans 16.5'. What would you suggest I build the frame with in order to ensure enough rigidity to span this length?

I wonder if using a powder actuated fastener would be considered drilling.
