Ceiling Panel Selection

Hello, can anyone tell me if there's a website describing the specs of a ceiling panel (trying to decide which one to get and they are all different). Unless someone here can describe it!

The info I need is on...

Flame spread (what does a higher number or lower number mean)
Smoke Developed (same)
Fire Rating (Difference between Class A and UL Class)
What's better (solid panels or the fibre one's)

Thanks, T

Here are a couple of links, also, have you tried this sites search engine?

well, the first thing you have to do is determine the requirements for the application you are considering. Like if it's a garage you'll have some fire rating you probably don't need for a bathroom.

"Better" is a relative term. Is it "better" to spend more money than you need to? On the other hand, there are cases where a little extra gets you a lot - that's where I would focus.
