what to use on ceiling above shower alcove?

Ok, my head is starting to spin a little. I've been reading all the drywalling posts and am starting to get a little nervous. This will be my first drywalling attempt and I want to avoid as many mistakes as possible.

Anyway, I have a question...what should I use on the ceiling above my shower alcove? It's a dropped ceiling and I was going to use durock but that seems very heavy. So I thought I'd use greenboard since it's water resistant. But, based on a few replies I've read I'm getting the impression this isn't correct. So, what should I use? By the way, I'm not tiling the ceiling, I'm painting it. Thanks.
