ready to texture

I have just finished mudding and sanding all my corners and seams. I want to put a slatter texture on using a hopper type applicater and drywall mud. Do I primer/seal before or after I texture?

Welcome to the forums

IMO it is rarely neccesary to prime before texture - only on previously painted walls where bonding would be an issue.

You should always prime the texture. This will help to make the finish coat of paint look and wear better.
