T&G ceiling...

Hey all...Looking for some answers on installing a T&G ceiling. I don't know where to go for the wood or what to expect to pay. Ceiling is roughly 230 sq ft. (i think) I want to find 1x6x16 any ideas? I appreciate any advice. Thanx Aaron

Call local lumber yards for price and availibility.

I agree with Marksr. I have tried the big box stores, and they just don't carry a good selection of the T&G. Our local lumber yard has it in varying lengths, widths and it is stored inside. Not to give too much unsolicited advice, but from experience, make sure to measure your room in the direction you will be installing it, and make sure you start square and end square. It may entail cutting a starter strip at an angle to fill the space, but you will be alot happier with the results. Of course, if you intend on installing crown, disregard everything I just rambled about. Good luck, I am sure you will be pleased with the results.
