plasterboard wall corners finishing

what do you use for the corners of plasterboard on the walls? do you tape them then plaster them or just plaster them or use some flexible sealant or something on them so it doesnt crack and look crap or how do you do it?

Assuming you have drywall [sheetrock] you would use drywall paper tape, fold along the crease and the press it into wet joint compound smoothing it out with a broad [taping] knife.

Apply 2 more coats when dry, sanding as needed.

From what I can tell gyprock plasterboard is similiar to sheetrock/drywall. I take it you aren't in the USA. You might want to check out gyprock.com's tech advice if there are any differences in how it is used.

Inside corners get taped as Marksr mentioned. Outside corners need a metal corner bead applied over the corner, then joint compound is applied to each side of the corner bead with a 6" knife.

Corner bead can be nailed or crimped on. IMO nailing is better.
